2018 Filing Season Delay

IRS Announces 2018 Filing Season Opens January 29, Reminds Taxpayers About Delayed Refunds

This is a week later than was expected and is not the only potential delay.  Between new fraud prevention efforts like the PATH act, major changes to the tax laws, and a government shutdown, taxpayers can expect delays in receiving their refunds despite the Internal Revenue Service claiming that 9 out of 10 taxpayer should receive their refunds within 21 days of filing.

We strongly recommend filing as early as possible or taking advantage of our FastCash Advance to help ensure you receive your refund sooner rather than later.  And even though the filing season does not begin until January 29th, we can go ahead and prepare your return and have it ready for filing that day, or submit it early for a FastCash Advance.
